The garden is the domain of Boris The Cocker Spaniel. It is a source of great fun and often contains pheasants, squirrels and, if he is really lucky, next door’s cat.

The chases that generally result can often be chaotic and, if cats are involved, sometimes result in one of the humans getting ladders out to rescue the cat from a tree.

Boris doesn’t like Owly Bellos though and, particularly during the winter the barn and screech owls are hunting in the garden and surrounding fields which he finds scary.

We also have two buzzards nesting near to Boris’ house and saw one of them catch a rat the other evening. Boris keeps away from them as they are really big and scary.

Boris also found Big Paw nearby.
